Principal's Message

Our commitment at Cecil Intermediate School is to provide a safe and intellectually challenging environment that will empower students to become innovative thinkers, creative problem solvers and inspired learners prepared to thrive in the twenty-first century.

High standards and expectations for each student in regard to academic performance and responsible citizenship are the foundation of our school. It is with pride that we hold high standards and ask each oof our students to commit to maintaining our outstanding record of achievement at Cecil Intermediate. Full participation in academic programs and a willingness to act responsibly as an individual within your educational environment are the factors that enable all to have a successful and enjoyable school year.

While the school plays an integral role in this success, it also hinges on active parent involvement. I encourage parents to talk with their children each night about the goings-on at school. Each student is provided with a Schoology account to access classroom information, including homework, classwork and teacher messages. 

In addition, our highly engaged parent group, CISPO, is always looking for parent volunteers to help with the myriad of events they put on each year. Finally, I encourage you to follow Cecil Intermediate School on Twitter @CISCMSD to get a glimpse of what is happening at our school.
